Toyo Proxes T1S - feedback
Gents,
Looking at purchasing a set of T1-S Proxes for my 968 - summer daily driver.
225/45 & 255/40 on 17" wheels.
Any positive/negative feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks...Petko

Dear 2Cati,
A few of our club members here in Europe are using Toyo T1s on various models of Porsches. The feedback so far is very positive.
Ciao,

2cati-
I am running these on my S2 in exactly those same sizes. I like them just fine, very good grip wet or dry (former tires were Bridgestone RE71's)and quiet! They seem to be wearing really well too, but I only have about 3K street miles on them. The price is pretty good also. I would caution you that these are a nightmare in any sort of snow.

Dear Riff,
The reason they are a nightmare in snow is because they are summer tyres not winter tyres. They should not be installed on any auto if the road temperature is below 7 degrees C,
