Cool Dunlops SP Sport 9000?

My rear Avons have died on me during a trip, and I´m facing the decision of what tyre to fit on the rear (255/40 ZR 17).
I like michelins Pilot Sport, but Dunlops are a lot cheaper... Does anyone have any good/bad experience with the Dunlops?

Driving will mostly be fast road /city/daily driver...

Thanks in advance!

I use Dunlop SP 9000 on 4 of my cars, from 930 Kgs 911 to 2000Kgs BMW M5T. They are VERY good for an everyday tire. If you intend to go on track, or drive over 90% of the cars capabilities (which is a BAD idea on an open road), then forget them.
They will give you a lot of miles, very good performance, but they are not Hi-perf tire like a p-Zero or a S-03.
They are probably the best tire in the rain.
Regards, GeorgeK

Cool

Done deal. I finally went for the SP 9000´s. I feel them a bit "bouncy" right now, but it could be a case of getting some miles on them, or playing a bit with pressures on them.
Seem good. Look fantastic, and the garage guy told me they were REALLY good tyres.

Thanks for the comments!
