Post Offset/Spacers

I can use a friend's 16" cup wheels (from early 993) for street tires on my 911SC. The wheels are 16x7, et 55; and 16x9, et 70. I'm not thrilled about calling a good wheel vendor for the info as I'm not buying from them. Anyone here know what size spacers I need to make these work?

Thank you.

Take the new offset (assuming it is larger) in the case of my wheels ET52, deduct the original wheels offset again in my case ET15 the difference is the size of spacer you need i.e. 37. It is not an exact science, as the rolling radis of an 18" wheel with a 35 series tyre is greater than a 16" with a 45 series tyre so you may need to deduct from the spacer to avoid problems.

I dont think this will be an issue for you with 16's

You'll need a big spacer to handle a 70mm offset in the rear. 8x16 911 Fuchs have a 10.6mm offset, and 9x16 Fuchs have a 15mm offset. So you're talking a spacer in the mid-high 50's.

Thanks for the input and info. Don't want to use spacers that are that thick. I'm just gonna continue my quest to find "reasonably" priced 9" wide Fuchs. I already have a pair of 7" wide Fuchs sitting in the garage.
