I also heard that Michelin doesn't necessarily suggest shaving. Interesting. Do these tires defy conventional thinking?

How do you properly heat cycles a tire??? I just got a pair of Kuhmo 712. Should I heat cycle them too? Thanks.

For softer track tires, they generally respond to heat cycling, which involves bringing them up to track temperature and letting them cool for 24-48 hours. There's some discussion on heat cycling on the Tire Rack site.
