Question 16 Inch Wheel Sources

I am trying to find a source for 16" Cup wheels or 993 Targa style wheels for my S2. It seems to be a dying size. I have found some used ones in mixed shape, but would rather avoid having them refinished right away. I have a set of 17" Cups with newish rubber I could trade if I can't find what I want new. Rims are in ok shape with some rash.

I've had my best luck on this by:

A) Pinging local Porsche Club folks
B) Watching e-Bay auctions for Porsche wheels
C) Pinging the P-car salvage yards

I missed a good set of 16's locally, had one seller on e-Bay pull plug and sell local... Ultimately found a recent wreck at 20th Street (if I remember correctly). Wheels and tires sold to Technodyne, who sold them to me.

It was a kinda long search for those 5-spoke 968 wheels for me. By the way, just saw a set of these sell on e-Bay for something like $400. That's pretty good for a set in decent condition IMHO.

Hope this helps.
