Post Dunlop SP 9000

Need to replace my Bridgestone S02 on the my C2 1990 using the original wheels, but have Techart lowered suspsension and spacers. Using 205/55 ZR16 ,wheel 6jx16H2, ET 52,3 mm
and 225/50 ZR16, wheel 8Jx16H2,ET 52,3 mm

Considering to buy
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 205/55 ZR16 91W MFS (S0)
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 225/50 ZR16 ZR MFS (So)

Are Dunlop exactly the same size as S02 or are they narrower/wider? Any comments about Dunlop versus S02 much wellcome.

Regards,

Cool

Okura,

Cannot compare against each other, but I have been driving on SP9000 for the last year and I would definitely recommend them, for stickyness, noise and especially, for driving in the wet... really good.

Duration however, is not so good, with only 15000 km in the rear ones (255 17) before replacement was needed.

My opinion is slightly different. They are VERY good tires,...up to 90% of the car's, or your own ability. When pushed to the limit, the show some disturbing traits of instability, which I have not found in Goodyear Eagle F1s, and Bridgestone Re 71s. Mine held 17'000 Kms on the back of a 400HP 3.3 Turbo.
I have also used them on a sub-1000Kg 911 Carrera and one a 951 Cup race car, on the street.
On my 1995 M5 touring, they behave superbly, with no instability.
Bottom line, if you are an agressive driver or have a lightweight car, go with something else.

I had the Dunlop SP 8000's on my 928, and recently changed to Pirelli P-Zero's. As soon as I wear these puppies out, going to the SP 9000's.
