996 rear tires - widest you can go on factory 18s
On a 2002 996 Cab, are there alternate tire sizes (front and rear) that will fit the stock 18" rims and improve overall handling? Would having the RoW M030 suspension affect the alternate setup(s)?

If you have factory 10" rear rims, you may not wish to install anything bigger than 285/30-18. That size tire works best on a 10" wheel and anything bigger will require a wider wheel. However, be advised that, by increasing tire size at the rear, you will help reduce oversteer, which in turn will help increase undresteer. Understeer is normally not a desirable aspect for handling if in fact you do push your car towards and near its limits.
The above is regardless of your suspension setup.
