I think that is his name.
Met him at the Sebring race, selling Fuchs, but lost his card.

It might be Gary Chappel you are thinking of. I sold him some Fuchs several years ago and just bought them back from him last week. He said he was at Sebring trying to sell them. Maybe he has more? Hope this helps.
