Question Anyone running Goodyear F1 GS-D3's

I am starting to look at these tires. They are rated the #1 High Performance Tire at Tire Rack. Anyone running them and care to comment?

I am currently running Dunlop SP9000's w/o any complaints, but I picked up another set of rims and have to put rubber on them.

I looked at the Goodyear F1s about 2 years ago when I bought new rims for my 993 cab - I'm not sure if they were the GS-D3s though. The tread shoulder profile of the F1s I was considering were wider than most other tires I looked at - the 265 were the equivalent width of the 285 SO2s that I ultimately went with (rims were 18x11). If your clearance is tight, make sure that the width will not be an issue.

David,

Are you running 17" or 18"?
