Question BFG KDW's

Has anyone here run these tires? I found a pair for the rear of my 944S2 since my current tires are at 5/32. So two questions. What were your impressions of the tire. And what tires did you match with them? The place didn't have the fronts, just rears so I am guessing that they may have been a special order that bailed on them. Thanks.

Do you already have those on the front? Having mixed sets of tires can create funky handling.

I had them on my Z3 and found they were a good street tire. Not as sticky as an AVS Intermediate but good on wet roads. The do get pretty noisy with wear.

Bill,

I currently have Dunlop SP5000's on the front and SP8000 or 9000's on the back. These were on the car when I got it. It's getting close to new rear tire time and since I found a set of these KDW's I thoought I'd inquire as to people's impressions. I'm not married to any one particular brand though. I have a set of Sumitomo HTRZ's on my 17's that I am trying to move. To rough a ride for my wife. So I picked up an M030 suspension and will lower the car a bit.
