Are there any functional "Fan Wheels"
As the title implies I am curious about the old BBS fan wheels and the idea of active aerodynamics AND brake cooling.
If the wheels were designed with some sort of airfoil for a spoke than when the wheel spins it could force air outwards with two purposes:
1) Generate a low pressure area under the car = more lift
2) Flow additional air past the rotors and the wheels to reduce temperaturs.
I have found some products online such as the ones here:

Has anyone effectively used this type of technology on Porsche 911's?
I don't think the NASCAR style fans will work with our rim offsets...

I recall these from my youth..same principal and were (if I recall correctly) actually directional, meaning there was a left and a right side...unlike our expensive twists..
