Default Ok to use 6 yo tires for DE

I have 6 yo PS2's with 4800 street miles and was considering using them for my first DE in the GT3. I'm solo qualified in Chin and PCA but this will be my first DE in this car. I believe the tires were stored in a climate controlled garage. The tires look new but I am unsure if the rubber is still up to the demands of the track. Any thoughts?

Question is, is it worth chancing on such a pricy car and potentially endangering others on the track?

I would get fresh rubber for the event, and your peice of mind.

The front PS2`s on my car are 5 years old as they last 3 times as long as the rears, and recently tried them in the rainy track, and pulled in after 2 laps with no grip.

good luck

They're probably even not terribly safe for the street on a HP car
