Black chrome from a rattle can?
Had anyone tried this stuff? I am thiinking of using it on a set of polished wheels I have.

Youtube. Yes. Just do a search on "how to paint wheels" or how to paint wheels black" should see it. The particular video was a girl painting the wheels from a jap car.

Thanks, I painted mine yesterday. They came out suprising well. I used the dupli-color shadow back kit. Pictures coming soon.

I just painted the spokes and even though they look solid black in the pictures in person you see great depth all the way down to the polished wheel underneath. It is really nice looking.

Looks good, I think I would like it even more with center cap black too. Here's a test I did on a chrome wheel & 3 light coats:

I left my center caps chrome because I have chrome lug nuts as well and I think the wheel will look good with the dots of chrome at the center. When I put them on the car I post another picture and see what you think.
