Default 235 MPSC on 18x8

Is anyone running a 235 MPSC on an 18" x 8" rim? If so, have you had any issues and have you tracked the car?

I've run that front combo on road, AX, and track without any problems (except for the Cups being cold natured at AX, of course).

I've also run the same size Cups (235/40/18 and 265/35/18 rear) on 9 and 10" X 18" rims with no problems.

I've also run 245 R888s on the 8 X 18" rims with no problems (with 275s on 9" rims in the rear). Steering was not as precise as with the 235 Cups.

That's all on a Cayman S, so your results may vary. BTW, 235s are the OEM size for the Cayman S 8x18" rims.

I'm using 18" 235's on my 911 (2005 997 C2S Cab). They were fine. I was getting premature outer shoulder wear due to limited neg camber so have just installed 996 GT3 LCA's and set a more aggressive camber - we'll see how the next set does ...

A friend that doesn't like to post runs MPSC 235/40 & 280/30 x18 on 8 ET52 & 10ET65 wheels. This is on a very low, heavily tracked 993 n/b. He has no issues and likes the setup, very good driver too.

I have an RSA, 235/265 MPSC's. Cup suspension/600-800lbs spring/lowered......
Everything JUST fits, but ran it at the track and no issues.
Front (18x8.5") 45mm offset
Rear (18x10") 50mm offset w/10mm spacer (et40mm)
No rolled fenders, but "massaged" the inside lip just a tad
Flattened the oil line on the right rear for extra measure.

But again, no rubbing and a noticeable difference from my 17" 225/255 MPSC's.
