Refurbishing D90 Turbo S rims

I have recently purchased a set of Turbo S rims and want to get them professionally refurbished. Are there any "gotchas" in this process due to them being forged rather than cast?

Turbo S rims are actually club sports, not D90's. I've had a few sets refinished from a local wheel repair place, they came out good. They didn't mention having to do anything special with them.
