Default Replacing one discontinued tire....how?

I have a slow puncture on one of my Hankook 19" rears on the Cayenne. It's already been repaired once so I think I want to replace it.

All four tires have about 5,000 miles on them.

As far as I can see Hankook are no longer making the tire I currently have (can't see it on Tire Rack anyway).

So.....I dont want to mix and match and I don't particularly want to buy 4 new tires when I don't need 3 of them.

what do I do?

Depending where the puncture is, and how it was repaired (dis-mounted, plugged and patched from the inside, remounted, spin balanced) it should be holding air.

With that said, PM Damon here, he is a TR employee, and may be able to assist you.

FYI, if the tire were an OEM product, PCNA could and would help you source that 1 needed tire, even for discontinued tires.

Agreed, could be a poorly done repair. I'd check this out first as it is the easiest and least expensive fix (try a different shop).

Otherwise, check Ebay and Craigslist. These are great sources for discontinued tires.

I wouldn't worry about mixing on different axles. Then you'll only have one 'spare' you can keep if you ever need a temporary tire after a blowout or something....
