Tire size for stock Fuchs
Hello,
I am going to be taking my 86 911 to the track for DE for the first time and need new tires. I have stock Fuch 16" 7s on the rear and 6s on the front.
Can someone please tell me an appropriate tire size for these rims?
Was thinking of going to the Toyo Proxes 888. 245/45/16 for the rear and 225/50/16 for the front.
Currently I have 205 Kumhos on the front and 255 on the rear (came with the car).
I might have to go up to 8s on the rear and pull the 7s forward to the front, but was trying to avoid this given the price and difficulty of finding 8"x16 Fuchs.
Are 6s on the front even OK for the track (strictly DE not racing)
