Default "new" RH speedline 3.6 40-bolt centers compatibility..?

Perhaps a long shot but I thought I'd ask:

I know that RH changed their wheelcentres from 38-bolt to 40-bolt. I have the old style 38-bolt RH 3.6 speedline replicas. The outer lip is pretty thin and known to bend easily. I was thinking of selling my wheels and replacing them with the 40-bolt wheelcentres together with the stronger OEM 964 3.6 speedline inner/outer rimhalves.

Can I use OEM inner and outer hoops (also 40-bolt) from the original 964 3.6 speedlines with the new RH wheelcentres? I know FVD sells these in various sizes. The oem rimhalves are much stronger so that would be a better option (if they are compatible).. Anyone?

TIA
