Better for a 9" wheel...Hoosier 255 or 275? Why?
Looking at the Hoosier website, I see that for the two tire sizes of 255 and 275 they rec'd the following:
255 rim range 8.5-10
275 rim range 9-11
So, which would be optimal and why for a 9" wide wheel? Just face validity says go with the 275 so you have more grip but I'm just trying to get smart on tire/wheel bests fit applications.
THANKS!!!

Dell-
All things being equal you'd like to have a wheel that is at the wider end of the correct application to minimize tire roll.
Is this for the front or rear of your car?

That's what I figured Eddie. It's for the back. The wheels are 8" front and 9" rear on the RSA. I run the 245's up front and the 275's in rear but didn't know if there would be a difference running the 255 (better or worse).
Thanks for the input!

I didn't even think about the gearing issue. And God knows in the 964 that those first couple gears can be rather long
Looks like I will stick with the 275. I was wondering why most of the guys were running the 275. Know I know!
Thanks again Marc (and Eddie)
