Default 265/35-18 vs. 275/35-18 on 996

Quick question from a tire/wheel novice.

I've got a '99 996 with 18" turbo twist wheels.
Time to replace the rear tires which are 265/35-18.

I put 14mm spacers on the rear which gives the wheels and tires a much better fit, but would the spacers cause tire rub with a slightly wider tire?

Wondering whether slightly larger tires like 275 or 285 would (a) fit (b) look better and (c) grip better??

Thanks for any ideas!

Nevermind, I'm just going with the original 265 size because I think it's a bit tight with the spacers, thanks!
