Default Alignment Question

Gents - As a follow-up to an earlier post from a few months ago, does anyone know if a certain amount of gasoline is recommended in the tank for a proper alignment? My car is a DD (i.e., non-track), and I believe someone had recommended to me that the ideal is to have ~ 1/2 a tank of gas, the theory being that people hardly drive with their tanks full or empty, but usually right in the middle. As always, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yep...1/2 tank is great in your case.

The person aligning your Porsche should also compensate for your weight in the drivers seat. This is usually done with bags of lead or other similar weighting. I think the shop I use usually puts 180 -200 lbs in the seat or left front flloorboard area for this offsetting of weight. Also +1 for the half tank of fuel.
