Default Replica Fuchs?

I own an'88 Carrera. I am looking for a set of wheels to use in DE's and have been told that there are now some "decent" replicas Fuchs. Can anybody recommend a particular manufacturer of such?

Also, what seems to be the popular tire for DE's? I have a dedicated set of tire shod Ruf 17s for the street so can compromise a little on tire longevity on the street for performance on track.

Thanks!

Do a search on Pelican or here on Rennlist for Subie Dude (sp?) Fuchs and check out the 17" replicas now available. Also look into Lindsey Racing, they offer a very nice conversion if you can find 2 pair of original 16x6 Fuchs as donors.

Just MHO, but I wouldn't use replicas. Get a good set of used factory wheels or BBS/CCW/etc. if you can get them.

Don't use replicas. Get a good used set of original Fuchs.

Get a good used set of original Fuchs.
And then have them checked carefully for cracks. Fuchs get worn out just like any other wheel.
