Heat (hair dryer), monofilament fishing line and Goo Gone.

I use an old toothbrush that I grind down to a flat wedge point. It looks like a chisel or flat bladed screwdriver when completed and takes about 45 seconds to grind down. Just put the chisel point under one end of the weight and start prying very carefully, then go to the other end, and back and forth. As also stated, I use some Goo-Gone or mineral spirits (kerosene) to lossen the rest of the stuff.
