I ran a set for approx 3 years and loved them... that was approx 10 years ago. I had them on my 1990 C2 (18" version)

What's the price on the BW wheels? Have you seen the Veloce 3.6? They look like a 3 piece but are actually a monobloc.

BW Motorsports wheels are not RH replicas. The RH wheels are actually a replica of the Turbo 3.6 wheel. I spoke with the owner of BW motorsport last year (I can't remember his name now) about how wide his wheels come, specifically the turbo 3.6 style. Turns out these wheels are all custom made and width is dependant on the rim halfs used. He used to use Kinesis rim halfs. I don't know if he still does, since Kinesis was sold last year to another wheel manufacturer.

Go to www.RH-Wheels.com and find their dealer page. The wheels are pricey, but the 3.6 wheel can be made with different offsets, they also have a 17" cup wheel that I have seen on many 944s.
