Default Kinesis two-piece wheel question

I recently picked up a set of very lightly used 18" Kinesis (I think they're called K18s) wheels ... two piece with the outer rim bolted to the inner core with about 50 small bolts. I intend to use them on the track.

I was loading them up to take in to have some tires mounted ... and thought I'd just check to make sure the little bolts were all tight. On one wheel, they were. I was surprised to find almost all the bolts on the other three wheels were not snug. So ... I hand tightened them all to snug ... no torque wrench.

My question ... is this surprising? How often do the other owners of this type wheel "re-snug" these little bolts. At the end of every track day? More often? Less often?

Thanks.

It seems that there may be some misunderstanding of what Kinesis intended. I contacted Kinesis (my former employer) regarding this issue. They do not recommend retightening your assembly bolts. If you have loose bolts you should contact Kinesis, or your Kinesis dealer, and have your wheels checked.

Alan has left Kinesis, but there are very helpful employees that can assist.
