I may be crazy but I am actually thinking of painting the centers of my Cargraphic 19's dark gray or black. Is this a "don't try this at home" or have some folks out there done this before? I assume I am going to remove the centers to do this. I am quite handy and have a spray rig, etc...but have never taken a modular wheel apart before.
Advice???

 

You'll obviously have to remove the tires first. When you reassemble them make sure they are running true and round before tightening all the ring fasteners. This especially applies to a spun aluminum 2-piece rim like a CCW, cast 1-piece rims aren't usually as critical
