Default 18" Sport Design Wheels on 951

I'm mounting staggared 18 x 8.5 Front and 18 x 10 Rear Sport Design Wheels on the 951. I've (recently) heard that anything bigger than 17's on lowered 951's is a bad idea, i'm in the process of installing the Escort Cup Kit from Bilstein which should lower it only .5 - 1". Also she's getting an RS fender flare package, and the track is widened by 6" total rear (3"/side) and 4" front (2"/side) with appropriate spacers. Any advice is welcome

make sure you update the front caster blocks to the 968 units. Much more metal on them....

Good looking wheels ain't they?

Got any pics on the wider car?

Default work in progress

I'll probably be posting the pics when the install is complete, within the next month or so... i'm in afghanistan trying to coordinate with my mechanic/body guys...and I'm leaving for vacation in Rome in 10 days...ohh what fun. The car should look like the broadfoot racing RS car, but with a jacquemond rear bumper. Also I'm going to try to reuse the factory rear valance as i would hate to loose this piece. I'm going to put on some camber plates (don't know who they're from) but i'm sure they're great quality, would i still need the 968 pieces?

guns - when you get back to Houston let me know. We have a very active group of very good guys down there. Check out the greasslingers pics for our last outing (should be right up your alley)! One of the guys in the group was a tank commander for some time and all of us do the range!

You will be fine with the wheels, just need to eliminate the rubber caster blocks.
