WTB 17" Twists or C2 Turbo Wheels (Cup1's)
I'm in the market for Porsche factory 17" Twists or C2 turbo wheels for my '87 944 turbo. Also open to Mille Miglia cup1 7.5 x 17 and 9 x 17 wheels. Must be straight and true. I prefer wheels with tires but will consider all. My goal is to have 17's without having to use spacers and have a very even edge with the fenders without rubbing.
you can email me from the board or send a pm.
Here are the ones I'm looking for...

Question, will these fit on my 87 without adapters? I read the offset thing on danno's racerx site, but still have some questions:
FRONT: 993 362 134 06 (7.5Jx18 ET50) with 225-40-18
REAR: 993 362 138 01 (9Jx18 ET52) with 265/35R18
So since my stock 16" phonedials are 7J front and 8J rear with ET53 offset (is that right?) the fronts would stick out .25" on each side from the hub, and the rears .5" on each side?
Now they are 18" rims, so I think that would cause rubbing unless I kept the tires at around 225-245 front and 265 rear.. would that work? It sounds like they will still not fill out my fenders though.
(I need help! lol)

i am running 225 front and 255 rear. i have seen 265 rears, but i would be careful. also, with the 18's, i think it is recommended that you get caster blocks. on the track, my fronts are 235...and those have 993 part #'s, and will fit late offset 951, so i think the wheels you are looking at should fit.

I have 17" turbo twists that I would sell. They have Michilen Pilot Sport Cups on them. Not a good tire for the street, but hook up awesome on the track. They were on my 1987 951, so they will fit your car with no problems. I can take pics on request, I think one may have minor rash in one small spot, but other than that they are mint. I have "turbo" center caps on my boxster wheels that are on my car right now, the twists have porsche center caps, but I am missing one. If I get one more Porsche center cap from the dealer, then I will include the turbo caps. Shoot me an email if you are interested. trwright@gmail.com
Also, I am not sure what the width of the wheels are, but the rears are wider than the fronts. I can get you tire size on request.

Hi danny951,
I have a set of 17" Mille Miglia Cup 3 (18" Porsche Turbo Look "look-alikes"). I used to have the 18" OE Turbo Looks on my Boxster S, but I "downgraded" since these are lighter, cheaper (tires, too), and ride better. I don't know what kind of clearances you have in/out, but the wheel sizes are:
F: 17x7.5" ET52
R: 17x9" ET47
These are the same widths as the 18" Turbo Looks, but in a 17" version with slightly different offsets (the 18" factory wheels are F ET50 and R ET52).
Relative to your stock 16", approx wheel differences are:
F is +1/4" inboard and +1/4" outboard ignoring 1mm offset difference
R is +1/4" inboard and +3/4" outboard considering 6mm offset difference
Currently, I have 235/45R17 RE750s on the front and 265/40R17 S-03s on the rear about 1/8 worn in the front and 1/2 worn in the rear. Hope the dimension info helps you in any case. FWIW, Porsche never made a 17" Turbo Look.
Good luck!
