Anyone selling a set of 17s or 18s?
So, I think I'm going to be buying a set of CCW wheels, but before I blow all that money I figured I'd see what people have for sale here.
Here's what I'm looking for:
Either 17 or 18 inch wheel, I'm not hell bent on either
8.5 inches wide in front, 65mm offset (maybe 8 inches is ok too)
10 inches wide in the rear, 60mm offset
Obviously if the offsets of what you have for sale are close to those but not exact, speak up
Thanks everyone

I know someone selling 2 sets of Fikse FM-10s (17" in the widths you mentioned). They're off a 968 so the offsets will work.
I think he's asking $2400/set. I can forward his contact info if you're interested.

Jerome, I'd be grateful if you could find out what the offsets are, because (as you probably know) the 88TS and 89T are higher offset than the regular late cars.

Hey Kevin,
The TurboS and 968 use the same 'wheel location in space.' Since offset changes with wheel width, comparing a 9" wheel that fits a 968 to a 10" wheel that fits a turboS will have different offsets, though the wheels reside in the well in the same location.
I'll PM you the owner's name for follow-up. He's our region's chief DE instructor, his wife is head of national club racing safety, so they're both trustable people.

IIRC, the 968 in question has the M030 hub/spindles installed. So it is the same as a Turbo S now. Its a full-tilt F car, so it should
As far as that price
If you contact Fikse with the serial numbers they can tell you the width/offset. I'm guessing 8.5 ET50 and 10 ET56. Thats what mine were

I have a set of HRE's for sale. I've used them on the track and they are great. They were custom made for the 86 Turbo offset. They are 9" in front and currently 12" in back. The 9" fronts will fit up to a 275 unser stock bodywork.
I recently weto to a widebody confiquration and changed the outer halves to make the rears 12". I still have the rear halves so you can go back to 10".
They are great looking (really too nice for the track) and I have the centers.
The only reason I am selling is because I just bought two sets of track wheels that are a bit larger and have the later offset that I'm switcing to.
PM me nkwright@san.rr.com and I can send pics.
I want $1500.00 which is about half of purchase price.
