Default 10.5" on C4?

I have a 996 C4 and currently have 8.5x18 and 10x18. I'm looking at some other wheels that are 8.5x18 and 10.5x18. Would the extra .5" be an issue?

The offsets for the new wheels are 45 for the 8.5 and 44 for the 10.5. I don't know what my current offset is.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming factory wheels, your cuurent rear offset is 65 mm. Porsche makes an 11" wheel with a 63 mm that fits the narrow body 996. As such, a 45 mm offset 10.5" wheel may create a rubbing problem at least under compression.

Just checked them I'm actually running 8x18 50offset and 10x18 65offset. Thanks for the info. Those wheels don't sound like they are going to fit.

I'm assuming this is what all the spacers are for? Is it worth it to go that route?

Thanks,
Nazz

No, in this case, spacers will only aggravate the matter as they'd push the wheel even further out.
