New member as of today. Picking up a used Boxster S next week, lightly used, always garaged.
Tires are 8 yrs old (Continentals).
Discount Tire comes out to this dealership a couple of times per month to assess tires on their inventory and said these are in good shape.
For my other cars and trailers I always change out every 4 year regardless of mileage but they are all also exposed to the elements.
I have bought new Michelins online at a nearby Discount Tire with the intention of putting a new set on given the age.
Save the $1,300 for now or go ahead and put new ones on before I drive back home?
(I know the answer, hoping there is a groundswell of suggestions that say save the money!
