What Hoosier sizes 981 Cayman racing / track days?
Hi All,
I was wondering what 18" Hoosier R7 front and rear tire sizes people are running on 981 Caymans for race / track weekends? I'm currently running RE-71RS's 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear and get some rubbing on the front coilovers. No spacers. But the Hoosier fitments (tread, section widths and overall diameter) are different. I'm worried about the Hoosiers rubbing and the differences in overall diameters.

Hoosier sizes are ridiculous. The 245/40/18 stacks almost as high as 275/40/18 NT01s. I ran a 225/40/18 front with good results (www.youtube.com/watch?v=r69D4S0mpA0). Here's a photo of them next to 245 NT01s.
