Default 19”/20” wheels on GTS?

Seems that Porsche only offers 20”/21” wheels for the 992 GTS. Is that because 19/20 won’t fit or is that just a marketing decision? Was hoping to get a set of 19/20 BC Forged KL12 for winter, but wouldn’t want to try unless they’re sure to work. Appreciate any advice.

As Ed said above, it is due to brake clearance. The 992 GTS got either 408mm steel brakes or the 410mm PCCB both of which use the same caliper in basically the same position. So putting 19"s on the front is the same clearance as using 19"s on a PCCB equipped GT4 or GT3 which is asking for the caliper or wheel to be damaged in some way. The Carrera and Carrera S models have smaller 330mm and 350mm brakes which have more than enough clearance for a 19" front wheel (shown below). It is possible to do 20/20" setup but you would be limited to select tire sizes to keep the height variances in check. Something like Front: 245/35-20 and Rear: 305/35-20 would work great and almost perfectly match your OE tire heights.
