Default How long can tires last???

I've got a set of Yoko A032's that are mounted to a set of phone dials that came with my car. They still have thread life left, but are pushing 6 years old. They don't seem dry or losing air pressure. How would you tell if they were past thier time?
Thanks!

Fwiw, Porsche doesn't recommend using tires over 6 years old.

Tires are usually goog for around 4 years. Any longer and the oils would of dryed out giving you poor performance ... due to the UV light and Hot/cold temp cycles. Look at the tires and check for cracks. The tread should be plyable. If not ... it's time to change.
