so, in a bit of boredom i have been looking to maybe achieve a more deep dish look to my 981 BGTS wheels. the oem Carrera S are finished in matching jbm with very thin silver lip.
these are pricey as-is of course so i would take the project seriously. no diy nonsense.
has anyone painted the wheel faces only, leaving spokes black, or done similar?
what is the risk assuming a good quality job? will it inevitably chip or otherwise deteriorate?esp with transition from spoke to face?

Mine are painted black, no problems with them. Power coating doesn't have to have high heat that will change the properties of the rims.
