I'm in on that group buy and spoke to the guy at apex who was very helpful, there's essentially only one set up available to you unless you want to go wider on the fronts. . .so essentually your choice is just color. I have a blk car so i chose gunmetal. . .with yours being silver, personally . I think blk only. oh, and that's the hottest cayenne i've ever see (wink wink, i assume you mean CAYMAN)

LOL we just ordered a Cayenne and I keep doing that. I am mixing them up all the time

I think you are right on the black. Did you order for a Cayman? If so what offset setup did you choose and why? I will forever have a problem understanding offset fully ::-)

Thank you for your interest in the community Group Buy. As others have mentioned, I enjoy holding one-on-one phone consultations with customers as it allows us openly to discuss how you plan to enjoy the car, what modifications you currently have or may have in the near future, etc. Enthusiasts have diverse needs and preferences, and with many different chassis specific wheel fitments to offer, we can tailor something to best suit your driving style, tire preferences and experience behind the wheel.

My questions for you:
Do you plan to track, autoX, or race (W2W or TT) the car?
- If yes, is this going to be a dedicated set of wheels and tires, or will it be used for dual duty (street and track)?
- If yes, how many track days do you have under your belt?
Do you have stock or aftermarket suspension?

981 Inspiration:

- Ryan

I am waffling and just changed my gangup pledge to Silver.

The color thing is killing me but my theory is I have black with the 20's so why not change it up with the 18's. that anthracite looks good too arrgghh

I totally get your point about switching it up. My car is all murdered and so for my track set i'm going with the gunmetal. . .(pic of car at the track below) . for yours, maybe not all silver and maybe not the same black as your stock wheels so maybe the gunmetal too?

Anthracite might be a good compromise between the 3 colors , I just wish I could see them in person.

I think I decided black is out for sure considering I have a set in the 20's

Silver is timeless, perhaps somewhat boring but has a certain class in my mind. The Anthracite might just be the color to bridge the gap. I worry about them looking a little like brake dust on the rims.
