Michelin Cup 2 - Inside Out ?
My Cup 2 front tires, mainly used on track on my 991 GTS, are worn unevenly. They are worn down on the outside shoulder. A not uncommon problem on the 991.
My question is, if anyone has a, qualified, opinion on whether or not I could run them 'backwards' that is, mount them with the side marked 'inside', on the outside, thus getting relatively unworn rubber on the abused side.
Is the carcass different or is it just a case of thread pattern and compound?
