Default Tires/ 245/45/18 vs 245/50/18

My daily driver had a blow out today... 2015 BMW 528 M sport. No spare - runflat car. Kudos to BMW roadside assistance....

Anyways, the factory tires are 245/45/18 and all of the runflat options in this size suck. My dealer says I will basically die if I install 50mm sidewalls which open up my options to include Michelin Primacy.

I do know at 70mph on my odometer I will be going about 72mph. Interestingly when I get clocked in school zones I'm actually going a little slower than my dash and my GPS says the same. The ride is going to be better regardless than the Goodyear Eagle 1's, - I swapped my wifes X3 from these to michelin and it was a huge difference.

Anyways... besides the slight MPH discrepancy, any other risks?
