Wheel Dynamics in CA am I getting scammed??
I sent my calipers for refinishing and talked to Eli prior to shipping them.
Nice guy, everything went well.
They received the calipers and didn't even start on them for a week. Eli promised the turnaround time was 7-10 days, well past that by now.
I called many times to check on the status and got a major runaround. Eli would not answer or return my calls what so ever!
Finally they are done with refinishing and now they want a payment but ONLY by bank wire transfer or Pay Pal "gift" payment. Those options leave me with absolutely zero recourse. At this point I have no clue if I will ever get my calipers back and If I send them a $860 "gift" I may not see that either..
Has anyone had any experience with these guys? I see that they were a vendor on 6speed in the past.
I am so frustrated I can't even describe it

What's with Users with low post counts that ask a question or describe a situation, receive input from the forum, but never follow up? It would be interesting to know if/how this was resolved.
I think I'm going to stop replying to Users' with low post counts.

They are horrible. I sent them my PCCB Calipers from my 997.2 TT that turned brown from track abuse.
First, paying by wire transfer is a joke. I couldn't find any other place to paint my calipers so I sent them the wire transfer. They claimed they have been scammed before with people doing credit card charge backs so they no longer take CC. Isn't this a potential issue with any company?
Secondly, they took forever to paint my calipers and lied about the the start date and progress when i called in for updates. I would get different answers from different people that answered their phones.
Third, (worse of all) when they had completed the job they sent me pictures of the calipers to show the finished work. Well the calipers in the picture wasn't even my PCCB calipers. They finally admitted without an apololgy that mine got mixed up with another set and they painted mine BRONZE. They said it will take another week to re-spray. To this day I can still see bronze on the edges of the caliper and some areas where they did not spray enough yellow.

for others who may find this thread I've had amazing results from using these vendors:
In the US:

In the UK (comm is fantastic and shipping is easy though pricey from US):
