Anyone have experience having tires changed on OEM centerlock wheels in LA (further west the better)?
In theory could save ~$500 using Tirerack vs. the dealer. But obviously you have to be comfortable that an indy tire shop can remove / re-install centerlock wheels properly. Would be great to hear from people who have had this done.
Also be sure that your installer has one of these bad-boys to torque-set your wheels properly. Also call us before you purchase your tires, we might be able to factor that in as well.
