Default New owner in Colorado

I did not see a place for introductions so please excuse the N00B if this is not correct.

I just picked up a 1999 911 C4 and joined up on this forum. I expect to do a lot or reading, lots of searching and asking a bunch of stupid questions. I think my Z4 is sold so I am moving up in the world. Or at least getting ready to throw a bunch on money towards this.

I promise I will not start any oil or tire threads as I know how those always go.

So from Phoenix this gets a new home in Westminster Colorado.

Cheers.

Marc

Welcome, and enjoy!

You should also post over on the 996 forum.

Thank you so very much. I thought I posted this in the regional form but what do I know. Future posting will be in the 996 forum.

It's appropriate to post here, too. Here's where you can contact folks in your geography, e.g., get advice on shops, find out about drives, find out about local gatherings, and ask for local hands-on help. Over on the 996 forum, you'll get more technical info specific to your car.

Also, if you intend to autocross or track your car, there are separate forums for those. Appropriate to introduce yourself there, too.

Glad to see another p-car making it this way... is it Arena Red? Don't see too many AR 996s on the road.

Yeppers, Arena Red and I am liking it a lot. It is in the shop right now getting a full check over and IMS done. Just in case you know.

The only other things they are going to do is flush the brake fluid and the coolant. I will put a new cabin air filter in. That is all they could find wrong with it so I am pleased.

One thing I noticed missing, I think, is there is no tire pressure sticker in the door well. ?? Oh well if that is the worst that happens.

Default Welcome

Looks like a nice clean example, lots of top down days in your area. Have fun.
