Today, took a drive to Sta Cruz down Hwy 1, returned via 9 and 35. Be aware Skyline is under construction, scored/rough pavement/loose gravel, from a couple of miles north of the 9/35 intersection to a couple of miles short of 92.

Not so much loose gravel out there regardless of the signs. I did not hear much pinging in the wheelwells. I was able to maintain 65 comfortably, but usually do a bit more than that. If you have a stiff suspension, your filings will get rattled.

Have no idea how long it'll be in this condition.

By La Honda, if you mean 84, that's clear. But up where it meets 35 (at Alice's), 35 is roughed up north and south.

Anyone planning on being out on Christmas Day along Skyline, La Honda and Portola Road. Trying to get my 15' GT3 past 2000 miles as "quickly" as possible, currently on 922 miles.

Won't be out on the 25th. Might be up for the 26th if it's an early run as I'll be going to my daughter's that afternoon. I'll subscribe here to keep tabs on that.

But will be out for my annual New Year's Day drive. Probably Hwy 25 out of Hollister to Coalinga.
