Default Bay Area dealers and shops no longer doing PPIs?

Seriously? Afraid of being sued....for the past year?

Nobody does PPIs in the Bay Area anymore?

Have you tried IPB AutoSport in Sacramento? I had my Cayman S PPI done there a while back, they are good people.

2 hours outside the Bay Area...right? I think that's a bit far to ask a dealer or private party to drive a car to get a PPI...

Just sold my GT3. I called 3 shops to see if they would do a PPI for the buyer. No one would. Small sampling, but all referred to liability issues.

Sharkwerks generally won't. At least when i called a year ago. I know my local shop generally doesn't, for good customers they will as a favor, but so busy they avoid doing them usually. The dealers in the area will, the one in Marin, and the one in Walnut creek (can't remember names, at least when i called a year ago).

PM Mooty for contact at SP Motorsports in Hayward. Good guys know GT cars well. They might.
