Default Road Trip (CA<-->Idaho)-July 18-24 (25)

Anyone interested? We are meeting in Gardiner, MT, the evening of July 19.

Here's the final map route, via Elko.

A reasonable place to stop on the first night would be Jackpot NV. SE Idaho tends to close up early, whereas Jackpot is open 24/7 due to the casino hotels there.

Don't miss upper and lower Mesa Falls on the Henry's Fork when driving up Hwy. 20. Take the loop on Hwy. 47 out of Ashton.

Thanks. Join us?

We're planning on stopping in Elko the first night, halfway between the SF Bay Area and Gardiner, MT, our meeting point.

Thanks, but I'm not going on any long trips until I get the IMSB changed in my 986.

While you're at it, may as well cruise further northeast along the Yellowstone River in MT, the last un-dammed river in the CONUS.
