This is obviously a while ago but I thought I would post to mention Michael Rose of 9 Elf Motorsport (formally Tillman's Engineering). He's in Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, CA. I figured if anyone searches for this topic looking for a more northern option...

Anyway Michael is trained at the Porsche factory. He is extremely honest which is hard to find. He also is an amazing mechanic. If you're looking for that guy...the guy that really knows everything you could possibly know about porsche from the old to the new he is your guy. He'll do projects in parts or as a large project and he's a super nice guy. That and he can pretty much fix anything and if he thinks you can get work done somewhere else cheaper he will even tell you that!
