I posted this in the Cayenne section with no replies, perhaps better here:
Does anyone know of a good mechanic/service shop around the san francisco bay area that can service my Cayenne? I no longer want to go to the dealer.
Thanks a lot for any help.

Good to know that HiTec is a good place. Sometimes they have nice Porsche's for sale...I was a bit too late on purchasing, but they have been very helpful in educating me on 993's since I am in the market for one.
FYI...they do a PPI with compression test for $207.

Who would you recommend for 993 maintenance in SF South Bay?
Many years ago I used CT Automotive when Don Wise was there. Don is now at Autowerks in Campbell. I also used Heyer Performance in Mountain View.
Who's the best in the South Bay area?

I have no personal experience w/ them, but http://www.porboys.com/ in Oakland sponsors the GGR PCA auto cross schools, so I'm assuming they must be pretty competent.
