Redwood Regions "Escape to the Wine Country"
ESCAPE TO THE WINE COUNTRY
PRESENTED BY THE REDWOOD REGION - AUGUST 25-28, 2005
This event is the first of it's kind... a purely social event held on the
opposite coasts from the Porsche Parade and is a product of the fertile
minds of the PCA Zone reps to encourage more participation from PCA members.
Come drive the best Porsche roads in the US and see the spectacular Northern
California scenery and wineries.

Schedule of Events:
AUGUST 25TH - Thursday - Welcome reception and buffet poolside at the
Flamingo Hotel - 5:00PM to 8:00PM with no host bar
AUGUST 26TH - Friday - 6 driving tours to various locations in Northern
California with lunch stops, etc. Starting at the Luther Burbank Center in
Santa Rosa at 9:00 AM
AUGUST 26TH - Friday - 6 bus tours to selected wineries in the Sonoma and
Napa valleys with lunch stops, etc. Starting from the Luther Burbank Center
in Santa Rosa at 10:00 AM
AUGUST 26TH - Friday Night - Free night
AUGUST 27TH - Saturday - Car show with People Choice awards at Luther
Burbank Center in Santa Rosa with lunch, vendor tents and wine tasting.
There will be a paneled judging for each of the Porsche marques with plaques
awarded and a "People's Choice" award.
AUGUST 27TH - Saturday Night - banquet at the Flamingo Hotel (limit 408).
Alois Ruf will be the keynote speaker showing the latest version of his
blazing tour of the Nurburgring in his "Yellowbird" on big screen TV.
Yellowbird will also be there. No host cocktails from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
with buffet dinner starting at 7:00 PM
AUGUST 28TH - Sunday - Brunch at Hotel with discount tickets available for
the IRL race at Infineon Raceway with a Porsche corral.
