I'm located in Half Moon Bay. You may find it extremely difficult to arrange a track day locally. Sears Point and Laguna Seca have very limited availablity, Thunderhill may have more. All are expensive, so you'll need many more cars than have indicated interest here.
There are many local organizations through which you can already participate, so, IMO, not worth the hassle of trying to set up a separate event. Check out PCA-GGR, NASA, TrackMasters, Tracquest, Checkered Flag, Green Flag, ... Lots more.
I'm always in for an event, though. If you can arrange one, keep me posted.

Track days
As stated by others here - plenty of norcal events organized by really top-notch groups. I have run at T'hill with Green Flag, PCA_GGR, Hooked on Driving and the norcal Lotus club. All very well organized, nice folks. No need to organize your own track day. Just visit http://www.thunderhill.com/html/calendar.html and you will see numerous open track days. These clubs for the most part are open to any/all marques. I need an excuse to get my 914-6 back up there - so keep posting your invites and comments. Greg
