Custom radar/laser jammer install SF Bay Area
Does anybody have experience w/ custom radar/laser jammer installation shops in the SF Bay area? Considering Uniden R9 for 992.1 GTS and would like to find a reputable shop to do the install.
Thanks in advance!

3 years ago I used Sound Innovations in Union City for a custom radar and laser jammer installation. Had them install an Escort CI360 for front and rear, and 4 pairs of Stinger fiber optic laser jammers in the nose of my Turbo S. Also had them send out the rearview mirror so the escort display is in the mirror. Totally stealth system that has worked perfectly since installation. I highly recommend this shop for their support and custom work. Check out how they mounted the controls for both systems.
They customized the Porsche logo and installed the controls in the ashtray.

I only put the jammers on the nose and nothing on the rear. Every laser encounter I've seen has been from the front. While there have been instances of laser tracking from the rear, they are rare. Laser has to be aimed at a specific vehicle and it's a diminishing target as the vehicle moves away. Sound innovations installs and test the system for basic functionality but they have no ability to test for calibration etc. I'm not aware of anyone locally that can do this.
BTW I chose the Stinger laser system as the sensors are virtually invisible on the nose. Laser is not legal in CA so that invisibly was important to me.
