Rennsport Reunion Debut : Air-cooled 911 with Modern Porsche GT Cup Car Suspension
Hello Rennlisters
We wanted to invite everyone to stop by our booth at Rennsport to see our 1988 911 comprising Porsche GT2, GT3, and GT4 modern suspension underpinnings, that is A-arm and multi-link.
The car is 4 years in the making.
The car’s engineer is Jay O’Connell. Jay is formerly of Ford SVT, was Rahal’s Technical Director, and is the currently Technical Director for the Turner IMSA team.
Among other projects, Jay designed and built a mid-engine 911 that was pre-Cayman, which generated interest with Porsche AG. Jay also created a multi-link suspension kit for Caymans and GT4 Clubsports that replaces the McPherson strut. These kits are being used worldwide.
We now wish to invite you to visit the O’Connell Car Design (OCD) and AutoQuest #12 booth in the vendor area to see the car.
Our Best,
Josh and Jay for OCD and AutoQuest
